Looks like Sunday's cross training is going to be yard work for a while. Pulling weeds, mowing, spreading grass seed, and picking up stickerballs (sweet gum balls) today - sounds like work to me. I was having flashbacks to my youth - we had to pick up stickerballs as a mild punishment when we were kids. I feel surprisingly good in spite of yesterday's punishment!
A lady at church tonight asked me if I was running in Clinton yesterday - she thought she saw me, then thought no, surely not. Unfortunately, she saw me heading back in, going UP that *#@%& hill on College St, and she didn't think I was having very much fun at all. I assured her that at that point, I wasn't!
Tonight's encouraging thought - 6 miles is almost 1/4 marathon. We're getting there!

My neighbors just had one of those trees cut down - we are all very happy! And you are right, that hill is a bugger!
