Got up and did my walking first thing today. I don't seem to have trouble getting my walking & running done - I wonder what the cross training block is?
Here's a really good split pea soup recipe. It's vegetarian and easy as can be. Go to Great Harvest, buy a loaf of good bread, and toast a slice to go with this soup for a complete protein.
SPLIT PEA SOUP: In a saucepan, put 4 cups water, 1 cup dry split green peas, 1 potato (diced), 1 small onion (diced), 1 carrot (diced), 1 tsp basil, and salt & pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then simmer 45 minutes. How easy is that?
