Just got in from choir practice, took the dogs for a quick walk around the block, and now it's time to blog and shower. Got my 45 minutes in this morning, a brisk walk. I know eventually I'll have to move outside, but I really like the treadmill. I tend to get pokey when left to my own devices.
OK, I'm not really bragging, just saying, but my pants are pretty loose (YAY!). Also, I'm calling my massage therapist tomorrow and making an appointment. Also, my new MP3 player arrives tomorrow and I'm very excited about getting a new gadget. I've been downloading This American Life episodes & can't wait to get caught up!
Here's another easy supper idea. Cook a cup of good rice. Steam several cups of veggies - broccoli, squash, onion, sweet bell pepper, cauliflower, whatever you've got on hand, until it's tender but not nasty. Put some rice on your plate, some veggies, grate some good cheese, maybe sprinkle some sunflower seeds for crunch, maybe some herbs like rosemary or chives or thyme. Takes about 15 minutes to cook, depending on your rice. This will feed 2 easily.
